Hydro Technician
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Grinding: Run electric grinder to remove stickers from tanks.
2. De-Valve Machine / Re-Valve Machine: Using hydraulic press machine to remove the valve from tanks.
3. Hydro Machine: Test unit for performing the hydro tests. This has a lot of moving parts and requires lifting of tanks. Perform hydrostatic testing on cylinders as trained and complete log of tested cylinders.
4. Middle Prep Area: Washing, drying and stamping of this area.
5. Painting: Paint all tanks coming into plant before going out to customers. Use hands to spin tanks manually on rack when painting.
6. Entering cylinder information into a computer.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A hydro technician is required to wear gloves, safety glasses and steel toe boots. A company uniform is provided and must be worn. Hydro techs work as part of a team of 3-7 workers.
Education:
High School Diploma required. Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or one or more years related experience and/or training preferred.

Prior work experience preferred.
