Atlanta Hydrovac, LLC is currently looking for Hydrovac Operators with their CDL A or B License to join our team located in Powder Springs, GA. The job requires typical construction hours with some weeks being less than 40 hours and others week requiring 50 hours or more with some weekend work. Flexibility is a must.

Essential Job Description:

· Safely operate hydro excavation system performing non-destructive excavation around sensitive underground piping and cables.

· Other job duties include tank entry, cleaning and vacuuming, mobilization of equipment and truck maintenance.

· Proper documentation/paperwork of all Company, Federal, State and Customer documentation as required by law and company policy. Must be clear and legible.

· Able to communicate professionally and effectively with on-site customer representative.

· Able to work independently in a team and safety focused environment.

· Attend safety meetings and ensures all tasks are performed in a safe and professional manner.

Experience & Qualifications:

· Previous hydrovac, vacuum truck or other related industrial experience preferred.

· Must have a minimum CDL A or B License with an acceptable driving record. Tanker endorsement required.

· Must pass pre-employment testing which consists of a Background Check, Drug & Alcohol Testing and Physical (DOT & Non-DOT).

· OSHA 10 Safety Certification is preferred. Safety mindedness is essential

· First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection Confined Space safety certifications are preferred.

· Able to troubleshoot and if the need arises, perform minor repairs to equipment.

· Underground or Utility experience a plus.

Physical Demands Requirements:

· Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts.

· Hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty.

· Must be able to climb ladders, and work from stationary platforms from elevated heights.

· Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl.

· Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time.

· Confined Space Entry may be required to accomplish tasks for some clients.

· Atlanta Hydrovac, LLC is a 24/7 operation.
