Join the Centennial Hospital team as a hyperbaric tech!

Shift Information:

• Full-time; no weekends

Position Summary:

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to operate the hyperbaric chamber.
• Insure adherence to the treatment profile, staff decompression, and life safety policies.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide general and age-appropriate medical care to patients in the hyperbaric chamber and clinic area.
• Fill a supportive role for those patients requiring physician or nursing intervention.
• Oversee life safety of all staff and patients, provide oxygen administration, and observe patient tolerance of the treatment and other general patient care needs as required.
• Duties also include on-call responsibilities, chamber system maintenance & infection control, process improvement, quality assurance, record keeping, and miscellaneous rotating duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist - preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Associates degree required.
• Minimum of six months in the field of hyperbaric medicine or a related field; One to three years of experience is desirable.

Pay: $18.50 - $27.39 per hour
