CAREGIVER POSITION = 12 hour shifts

We are looking for someone that is dependable and compassionate.

Must speak and write English well.

Education:- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Experience required: ONE (1) YEAR working with people who experience developmental disabilities or providing direct support care required.

Non-medical Assisted Living Home care company needs top quality caregivers for High Functioning Intellectually Handicapped Individuals.

Caregivers need to be professional as well as mature for this job.

Looking for kindhearted, devoted caregivers that are patient & kind with experience in providing quality client care.

Room and board are provided for live-in shifts only, which includes your own private lockable living area, free cable and internet and all meals.

Must be able to pass a state/federal background check. First Aid/CPR, TB clearance, a valid driver's license and current auto insurance also required.

Job duties would include but are not limited to:

CAREGIVER POSITION:

Light cleaning, assisting residents with independent living skills. Assisting residents stay on schedule. Waking residents up for programs/schools/appts. Assistance with administering medications. Occasional drop offs/pick-ups. Daily notes charting. Preparing meals.

Duties:

• Charting or taking notes for others to review
• Providing companionship and supportive listening
• Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
• Responding to emergency situations
• Transporting client to appointments
• Assisting with medication administration

COVID-19 Precaution(s):

• Remote interview process
• Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place

Typical end time:

• CAREGIVING POSITION: 9 AM AND/OR 9PM

Typical start time:

• CAREGIVING POSITION: 9AM AND/OR 9PM

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
