About

I have an immediate need for an in-person certified or experience Spanish teacher in King of Prussia to meet at the Upper Merion Township Library. The parents are asking for a certified teacher or a teacher with a lot of experience teaching children Spanish.

The students are siblings who are brothers. The oldest is in 4th grade & the youngest is in 3rd grade. They need a tutor for Spanish.

Although they are 1/2 Colombian and have been exposed to Spanish, they are not taking a class in school, so they would benefit from introducing them to foundations of reading, writing and speaking Spanish through vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and simple phrases.

The goal is to possibly prepare them for enrolling into a Spanish immersion school. The parents are hoping that the tutor can recommend materials, resources or available programs for them to acquire in order to create a loose "curriculum" or consistent structure to follow.

They want 3 hours with the tutor a week, split between the students in either back-to-back 45 minute sessions for each, 2 days/week or two 1.5 hour sessions on 2 different days for each student separately. They are available Monday through Wednesday from 4pm-7pm as well as Thursday 3pm-5pm.

Job Requirements

• Tutor must be willing to work face to face at the Upper Merion Township Library.
• Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)

Student Availability

Mon-Wed 4pm-7pm

Thur 3pm-5pm
