Salary Range: $25.00 - $34.00

Shift: 4/10-night shift, 7:00PM - 5:00AM

What you will be doing:

• Ensuring all equipment is maintained according to supplier guidelines. This includes conveyors, cranes, refrigeration systems, fire protection, freezer doors, material handling equipment, dock doors and other mechanical systems
• Performing planned preventative maintenance and repairs in a timely and safe manner, with minimal impact to normal operations
• Replace minor and major components in automated conveyors, cranes, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, and other mechanical systems
• Fix problems and replace faulty components on control systems, PLC’s, low-voltage, and high-voltage electrical systems
• Perform general facility maintenance as required
• Assist in other warehouse activities as required
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
• Continually look for opportunities for improvement

What you will bring to the table:

• Technical certificate or degree preferred
• 2 years’ experience in automation maintenance or industrial maintenance preferred
• Familiarity with PLC’s, Profibus, automated MHE, and photoelectric sensors.
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of mechanical systems
• Working knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to work effectively in cold freezer environment
• Must be able to climb 120ft ladder using safety harness
• On occasion, will be required to wear a SCBA while working, requiring employee to be clean shaven
