Prefer IE’s with Automotive General Experience. The work will be writing Standardized work for a new vehicle they will be building at the Tech Center.Responsible for maximizing the efficiency of equipment, tooling and personnel
Knowledge and use of APS and STDS systems for manufacturing process planning and development is a big plus
Maximize productivity and eliminate redundant of inefficient processes
Optimize direct labor within the general assembly processes
Provides process validation and corrective actions to ensure adherence to standardized work
Develop lean and efficient workstations that minimize non value added activities
Optimize facilities, production and service locations to reduce inefficiencies
Coordinate material flow and material replenishment methods with the MP&L dept.
Evaluate designs for potential manufacturing inefficiencies
