HHP INC. Is looking for a Millwright Mechanic to help support our Henniker, New Hampshire mill. Open to training the right candidate.

  • Flexible hours either 4am to 2pm or 7am to 5pm, 2 Saturdays per month. These hours can extend, depended on workload and project completion time frames. Overtime pay is offered.

Daily obligations:

  • Dependable and punctual is a must,
  • Wide variety of types of physical labor
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.

· Conducts all preventative maintenance & repairs on a wide variety of machines & equipment around the mill, while keeping communication with management of the condition of equipment that may need to be repaired or replaced.

· Makes rounds to check for proper operation of equipment while being alert to noises, vibrations, and unusual smells within the mechanical spaces.

· Performs mechanical troubleshooting tasks effectively working with or without manuals.

· Maintains and constructs production and mill equipment; capable of diagnosing, analyzing, investigating, and correcting causes of malfunction of production and plant equipment and machinery.

· Performs basic maintenance skills such as welding, mechanical work, and equipment adjustment.

· Participates in training other department members and operators in serviced departments on equipment as required.

· Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.

  • May also have to assist machine operators and other parts of assembly when needed.

Requirements

  • Pre-employment physical and drug screening.

The ideal candidate will have.

  • Industrial Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, electrical experience preferred, part ordering, scheduling of PMS and Repairs.
  • Familiarity with machinery in a production process.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude.
  • Forklift operating is a plus. *Willing to train the right person*.
  • Reliable transportation
  • A “Can-Do” work ethic and good communication skills.
