Position Title: Scaffold Builder

Position Reports To: Foreman

Position Summary

Construct, position, use, inspect, maintain and deconstruct scaffolding structures, according to sketches or blueprints, or while adhering to client, OSHA and company standards

Essential Functions

1. Transport materials to the site and erect the scaffold to the dimensions required

2. Utilize fall protection to secure yourself, tools and materials

3. Hammer material to each locking section

4. Erect scaffolding, install ladders, handrails, platforms, catwalks needed in order to access work area

5. May rig materials

6. Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

GED or High School Diploma

4 years industrial or commercial construction experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

NCCER Certification Preferred

General knowledge of OSHA, site, and company standards and requirements

Knowledge of standards for acceptable scaffold erection

Work Conditions/Physical Demands

Repetitive Motions, Climbing, Standing, Walking, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Pulling, Pushing, Lifting, and Grasping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
