Job Description

Job Title: Information Technology Director

Overview:

Our IT Director is a hands-on role that is highly involved in the day-to-day operations of two companies located in Overland Park, KS and Grandview, MO.

Job Description:

• Administering the networks and systems for HQ and warehouse operations.
• Platforms span Microsoft servers, PCs, Macs, VMware, Unifi Wireless Networks,

SonicWall, Office 365, SAPB1, WMS (HighJump), VPNs, Security, and Mobile Devices.

• Maximizing uptime/minimizing downtime, restoring services as quickly as possible through expert troubleshooting.
• Oversee hardware and software installation and support.
• Providing end user support for approx. 50+ staff members.
• Analyzing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
• Managing vendor relationships and SLAs with VMware, Microsoft, SPS Commerce,

CommerceHub, Koerber, SupplySoft, ThirdWave, US Database, and Pyramid

Analytics.

• Evaluate cost savings opportunities.

Requirements

• BSc/BA in computer science
• 10+ years in IT with 5 years in a Director or Manager position
• Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
• Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
• Experience in controlling information technology budget
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication abilities
