What You'll Do
Summary:
Works under the supervision of the Food Services System Administrator. Responsible for receiving, storing, weighing, assembling, and issuing of food supplies for the department according to production schedules and requisitions.
Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrates a daily commitment to meeting or exceeding the established Standards of Performance. 2. Measures, weighs, assembles, and packages ingredients according to recipes and production schedules. 3. Receives food, supplies, and minor equipment, checking and signing invoices, noting discrepancies. 4. Rotates and stores food and supplies in appropriate areas. 5. Removes and records requisitioned items from stock and delivers to appropriate areas as needed. 6. Maintains sanitation standards in work area, including daily monitoring and recording of departmental refrigerator and freezer temperatures. 7. Assists with conducting of physical inventories. 8. Maintains security of work area and supplies. 9. Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations in dealing with all members of the team. 10. Maintains and promotes customer satisfaction. 11. Maintains and adjusts personal schedule to enhance team performance. 12. Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence. 13. Performs other duties as assigned.

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2. Licensure / Certifications: North Carolina driver’s license in good standing. A clean driving record. 3. Experience: Two years in food service or warehouse stock clerk required.
