Job description

CG Roxane is looking for a Injection Blow Molding Mechanic to add to its team at the Benton, Tennessee facility. The core focus of this position will be responsible for complex hands-on work on industry-leading molding, automation, and robotic technologies; project goals and objectives; trouble shooting production equipment on high-speed bottle blow molding and filling lines to optimize efficiency; proactively overseeing maintenance efforts and activities and working with management and team members to troubleshoot and insure quality resolution of project related problems; and continuously review the effectiveness of current processes and procedures to identify and lead process improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Full Time Monday thru Friday and weekends when scheduled
• Rotating shifts
• Must be knowledgeable and proficient in the operation, repair and normal maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Adhere to all hygiene policies and respect the quality requirements in all areas when maintenance is required
• Ensure the safety of employees and all machinery at all times
• Skilled and experienced in troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulics, electrical and vacuum systems
• Capable of reading and understanding electrical and pneumatic schematics
• Prepare, organize and handle improvement projects for machinery and equipment as directed by management
• Must be able and willing to learn other equipment (Injection machines, compressor, and refrigeration)
• Follow the preventive maintenance schedule
• Reduce downtime by making corrective maintenance and needed repairs on the machines a top priority
• Responsible for accurate documentation of all maintenance completed in the maintenance log book
• The injection blow molding technician is in charge of startup and shut down of the production lines
• Communicate with operators, other injection blow molding mechanics and management about machinery issues as required
• Assist in giving breaks to operators as needed
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
