Inside Sales: Maritime Industry

Houston, TX

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

-Develop and maintain relationships with current clients and facilitate requirements for those clients with internal resources and systems

-Work as part of the Marine Business Development team developing opportunities for the Houston Sales team can close

-Prospecting within the current client base for expansion opportunities along with some cold calling to identify new opportunities

-Utilize our order entry system for creating and tracking on-time shipments

-Creation of quotations based on customer requirements and looking for opportunities to add value with additional products or services

-Work closely with internal sales resources locally as well as other locations

-Use of ERL Sales Process to achieve goals, which include updating and maintaining records in CRM (Salesforce)

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Proven inside sales track record of marine or other industrial products with examples of client expansion and prospecting activities

-Experience providing excellent customer service

- Quick on your feet and mechanically inclined

-Experience upselling where opportunities present themselves

This particular Inside Sales role will come with a nice 25-30% commission/bonus package. The company is a well-known service provider of maritime and oil/gas equipment that needs a solid go-to for all of the incoming inquires and follow-ups.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
