The Driver Helper/ Installation Specialist is responsible for the assembly and installation of products while providing a safe, efficient, and courteous delivery to our customers. Assist in helping load and unload items and maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle and installation site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help assemble and install products for all customers and manufacturers within a home location or job site
• Properly assemble products per manufacturer's specifications, test for proper functionality and load, unload and install safely, according to local codes and standards without damage to product or customer location
• Identify and resolve any issues in a professional and effective manner to ensure a positive outcome
• Interact with coworkers and customers in a professional, fast-paced environment to ensure customer needs are met while building a strong working relationship with a positive attitude.
• Understand and promote all JBHT safety requirements including required use of personal protective equipment to ensure safety of self and co-workers; adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure job site is safe for product installation and free from hazards and obstructions that could endanger workers or damage the delivery site
• May assist with project execution through effective communication in order to improve operational efficiency and profitability

Minimum Qualifications:

• 18 years of age
• Must possess ability to work outdoors, in the elements

Preferred Qualification:

• 1-2 years experience with High School Diploma/GED, experience in installing appliances, manual or physical labor, construction site preferred
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets JBH standards

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift/move product up to 100 pounds or greater)
• Ability to wear appropriate work attire (bump cap, footwear-steel toed shoes, gloves, safety vest)
• Customer service skills
• Experience in material handling
• Experience installing large, bulky equipment
• Experience utilizing hand and power tools
• May travel up to 50% of time
