Job description

Under general supervision, develop and coordinate training programs and activities for consumers with Mental Health Developmental Disabilities. Provide a wide range of supervision to instructional and support staff. Services as management coordinator for material support, staff in service training and family and community support programs.

Job responsibilities: Monitors and participates in the development of appropriate training programs for consumers. Participates as member of the interdisciplinary team to establish training objectives for long and short range goals. Maintain consumer records in compliance with agency standard, CARF standards, Medicaid Waiver Regulations and State Regulations. Provides a wide range of supervision to instructional and support staff. Plans, organizes and conducts in-service training sessions to accordance with department policies and standards and identified staff needs.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health preferred and have at least 2 years of experience as instructor in a similar setting.

Selected candidate is subject to pass a background check, drug screen and to have a favorable motor vehicle report.
