Job description

Electrical engineering degree, minimum of three (3) years instrument engineering experience in petro- chemical industry, plan, design, budget controls, and complete the assigned project to meet the schedule. The major areas of job description as below:

1) Ability to prepare instrument engineering documents, such as instrument index, instrument

specification and detail engineering design documentation etc.

2) Ability to review / comment P&ID, scope of work with operation and related parties.

3) Ability to review / comment piping ISO, specification and layout drawings.

4) Capable to prepare instrument specification for bidding as well as B2(preliminary) budget estimation.

5) Familiar with instrument calculation methods for flow elements, control valves, and relief valves.

6) Familiar with concept of instrument engineering detail design includes such as DCS SIS system design.

7) Able to read and follow NEC code, specifications and standards.

8) Ability to review/ comment mechanical package equipment during quotation / evaluation stages.

9) Able to use Auto-Cad, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point for documentation, reports, and work

tracking.

10) Capable to review vendor proposal, prepare COQ to meet specification.

11) Capable to work together with DDE complete all the instrument engineering design documents.

12) Prepare construction package for bidding.

13) Capable to support field construction job, solve engineering errors or technical issues, and work with

other disciplines as-required.

14) Attend project meeting, report project status to manager.

15) Apply good communication skills in verbal and writing.

16) Interact with vendors, contractors and customers.

17) Capable to realize and implement cost saving / value added tasks.

18) Capable to set individual goals and achieve the expectations.

19) Perform special projects and/or other duties as-assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $37.00 - $43.00 per hour
