We are currently seeking candidates for and Insurance Biller. This Position prepares and submits claims to insurance companies via hardcopy or electronic file as well as provides follow up to insurance carriers on unpaid or rejected claims.

The Insurance Biller answers inquiries on accounts statuses and charges. The position works in a high-volume call center environment, using the telephone and company computer systems to accomplish their daily tasks.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• 1+ years experience working in Call Center of Customer Service function or medical billing environment where contact with the public was a part of daily duties
• Knowledge/experience of medical terminology, patient billing, insurance and reimbursement process, healthcare insurance and/or healthcare administration preferred
• Knowledge of State and Federal billing guidelines required
• Basic understanding of medical ICD9 codes and CPT medical billing codes
• Ability to enter and update data on company and client systems in an accurate, timely manner
• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Strong organization skills. The ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work successfully and cooperatively within a team-based environment
• Articulate written and verbal communication skills
• Focus upon customer service
• Significant attention to detail
