JOB TITLE: ILS Engineer
PLANT/DEPARTMENT: DIRECTED BY:
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) ILS Manager
IMPORTANT WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Engineering and other ILS Personnel, Customers, Program Management, Purchasing, Proposal Dept. Personnel, Manufacturing Personnel, Subcontractors.
DIRECTS: None
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Develop logistic documentation for defense and commercial products.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Technical writing of equipment Technical Manual and Technical Repair Standard to military specifications (particularly US Navy).
- Development of Provisioning Technical Documentation package to include Engineering Data For Provisioning and Provisioning Parts List (with Spare Parts identification).
- Aid in generation of equipment training courses and materials.
- Assist with equipment analysis such as Safety, Reliability and Maintainability.
- Provide input for ILS proposals.
- Participate in program reviews (internal and with customers).
- Interpret and apply contract specifications for assigned ILS tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED/SPECIAL NOTES: EXPERIENCE
- Ability to read and interpret engineering models and drawings, for the purposes of technical writing and design analysis, is required.
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat (DC or Pro), AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks required.
- Prior ILS experience is preferred.

- Ability to work in an office environment.
