Cognosante is seeking an Integration Engineer for Red Hat OpenShift Platform to join our Supply Chain Modernization team. The Integration Engineer should have experience supporting Red Hat OpenShift Platform; Red Hat Integration Platform to include Fuse, AMQ Streams and 3Scale; Cloud infrastructure, specifically with AWS. The Integration Engineer will provide support across multiple OpenShift instances. In addition, you will be responsible for developing container operators for automation and for security controls, working with development teams to assist in containerizing traditional applications to be able to run on OpenShift. Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and Maintain OpenShift/Kubernetes Clusters
- Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipeline with Tekton, ArgoCD, GitOps.
- Implementing and maintaining using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
- Implementing Fuse and AMQ Streams
- Developing and implementing policies for the use of cloud services
- Managing requests for new technology
- Establishing a secure cloud environment
- Ensuring appropriate availability of services
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- Kubernetes and OpenShift v4.x experience: 2+ years
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure
- Experienced in Red Hat Integration Platform (Fuse, AMQ Streams or 3Scale): 2+ years
- Experienced in AWS , including solution strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Linux
- Must be able to achieve a moderate (Tier 2) VA position of trust

Preferred Qualifications
- One or more of the certifications below: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect (Professional), DevOps Engineer (Professional), or equivalent
- Certified in Kubernetes Administration or in Application (CKS or CKA) or Certified in OpenShift Administration 4.x
- Experience in Java or Python, Docker, and Git
- GoLang Programming: Specialist 3-10 years
- Develop Openshift/Kubernetes Operators using Python/Ansible/Java
- Highly proficient in developing metrics for Prometheus/Metrics/Elastic Monitoring
- DevOps/ Automation (scripting, Ansible, Terraform, etc..) / GitOps versed with modern technologies and best practices
- Experience with InterSystems Products
- Experience working in the Federal Government, Veteran's Administration (VA) experience a plus
- Active clearance for Public Trust Position
