ABOUT THE COMPANY: Formed from the merger of Wright Tree Care and Heard Gardens, Wright Outdoor Solutions has been caring for Central Iowa’s outdoor spaces since 1928. In 2013, we purchased local Iowa company The Growing Concern, which allowed us to take our services indoors as well. In 2019, we expanded our reach into the Omaha market through the acquisition of Omaha based company Verdure Elements, offering interior plantscaping, seasonal color, and holiday design services. We are proud to be employee owned and offer the area’s most complete package of services for the care of your property. Our services include tree care, landscaping and maintenance, plant design and maintenance, lawn care, holiday lights and décor, snow and ice management, and mulch.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions:
- Service interior plant displays, flower and replica foliage on specified days.
- Water, prune and groom plants, identifying insect and disease problems.
- Ensure the client site is clean and orderly throughout the visit, leaving no water, waste or debris behind.
- Communicate with Service Leader regularly to inform them of any concerns or needs Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright and Wright Outdoor Solution’s culture of safety and employee ownership.
- Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.

- Position may require some outside travel.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 50 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record; an MVR will be checked.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Horticultural experience required.
- Must be dependable, punctual and have a strong work ethic.
- Must be detail oriented and have good communication skills.
- Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors.
