The position of Inventory Clerk is going to be a temporary assignment. This assignment will last for three months. This position is not eligible to turn into a full time position.


Job Summary:

Inventories, cleans, organizes and catalogs maintenance parts. Generates part numbers in oracle. Ensure oracle records match what is physically on hand. Supports the Maintenance manager in developing Min and max quantities for stock.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
  • Check items received against packing list, unloading reports, invoices, etc.
  • Receive storeroom items into computer system.
  • Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
  • Participates in determining methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering height, weight, turnover, space required.
  • Maintains inventory and other stock records.
  • Records inventory transactions in computer system.
  • Maintains clean and orderly storeroom and receiving area on a daily basis.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Identifies and labels storage locations. Enter such information into computer systems
  • Identifies stock by device type and purpose. Generates naming conventions that supports this.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Other Skills and Abilities: Must be computer literate and able to work with programs such as Word, Excel, etc., and be able to learn and use HP programs such as e-mail, One World and established programs, etc.
