Overview:
In addition to Full-Time employment with our partner, this program provides NO COST skills-based training to highly motivated individuals with a foundation in Software Systems. This training is tailored to the specific role and includes both technical and interpersonal components. This unique work-study opportunity differs from the typical job. Our solution, for those who are ready, will put you on the right personal, academic, and professional path while providing the necessary support and mentorship to help keep you there.

Candidate Profile:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • MUST be comfortable working with software systems
  • Availability to work full-time
Program Overview:
  • Phase 1 - Training (5 Weeks):
  • Classes and certification test preparation will be held Monday – Friday
  • Training will include:
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Technical Training and Certification (as needed)
  • Phase 1 Compensation: $650/Week Stipend
  • Phase 2 - Full-Time Employment:
  • Full-Time work (38 hours/week) with a training component (2 hours/week)
  • Throughout the program you will receive continued support and individual mentorship to ensure your success.
  • Phase 2 Compensation:
  • $30.00/Hour (Plus Benefits after 90 days)
Position Description:
The Associate Systems Engineer assists in design, development, testing, coordination, implementation, maintenance and administration of the Windows based IT Infrastructure and applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Under supervision, handles the administration and support of Real Time Systems (hardware and software).
  • Provides technical support in requirements gathering, planning, coordination, programming and implementation of releases.
  • Ensures stable performance of our systems & environment through monitoring and tuning.
  • Performs capacity planning and performance prediction.
  • Team player that will collaborate with the team members, other IT teams and the Business to provide to deliver excellent services needed by our Business partners.
  • Ensure standards and procedures are being followed, including but not limited to change management procedures and methodologies.
  • Conducts product research and evaluation.
  • Responsible for software installation, configuration, testing, documentation, upgrades and maintenance.
  • Customer focused.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • MUST be comfortable working with software systems, to include
  • Infrastructure
  • Management
  • Migration
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong teamwork skills

Salary

  • Training: $650/Week
  • Full-Time: $30.00/Hour (plus benefits)
