About the Role: EGlobalTech is looking for a IT Customer Support Consultant to be part of a team that supports compliance requirements for a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) component office and its surrounding programs. The ideal individual will support a full range of IT logistics planning and acquire affordable and supportable IT systems as well as inventory control and property management functions required to account for IT resources, warranties, licenses, and technology refresh planning. Responsibilities:

  • Collect, review and update information and documentation related to the sustainment planning for IT equipment and applications
  • Support requirements determination that include support equipment; supply support; packaging, handling, storage, and transportation; and provisioning requirements
  • Support training system requirements determination
  • Support computer resource requirements determination
  • Support level of repair determination
  • Support data requirements determination
  • Prepare, review and update performance-based metrics related to support contracts
  • Collect, review and update information and documentation related to the Asset Management of IT equipment and applications
  • Provide property management/warehousing support services to include receiving and distribution of supplies, light moving duties, general knowledge of inventory control, and continued upkeep of maintenance logs
  • Provide supply support, including preparing and monitoring documentation and records within a Sunflower (Oracle) property management system, Microsoft System Center and ServiceNow Software Asset Management
  • Collect, review and update information and documentation related to the warranties and licenses for IT equipment and applications
  • Collect, review and update information and documentation related to the sustainment planning for IT equipment and applications
  • Prepare, review and update program-level Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), applicable references. Coordinate with, provide inputs to, and participate with stakeholders, reviewers and individual program/project managers

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field is desired but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT support role, Federal Consulting experience is preferred.
  • Experience with supporting logistics management functions to include inventory control, asset management, and property management for implementation, deployment, and sustainment of complex IT systems
  • Experience in warehousing support services to include receiving and distribution of equipment
  • Experience using inventory / asset / property management tools that include Sunflower (Oracle) property management system, Microsoft System Center, or ServiceNow Software Asset Management
  • Knowledge and understanding of the DHS SELC process as identified in DHS AD 102-01
  • Demonstrated strong written and oral technical communication skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • This position requires a badge and or clearance that will require an extensive background, credit, and drug screening requirement.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting the DHS Components in logistics management functional elements and inventory control/property management functions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of DHS acquisition policy and processes as identified in DHS AD 102-01
  • Understanding and Knowledge of the DHS organization
  • Advanced Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related technology field
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics Level II Certification
  • PMP Certification.
