SCOPE OF ROLE:
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for all IT infrastructure in our global IH&S facilities. Lead a team of infrastructure system administrators which includes task assignments, project management, mentoring, and all other management activities. Lead projects in the development, implementation, sustainment, and continuous improvement of IT Infrastructure systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and career development plans to all members of the IT Infrastructure Team.
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks.
  • Implement project management and communication plans.
  • Lead capacity scaling and planning activities to support both existing and new functionality as business requirements evolve.
  • Architect, implement, and support enterprise hardware and software.
  • Responsible for disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Partner and be a leader in collaborating with other teams and IH&S leadership to deliver a complete and robust IT infrastructure.
  • Designs best practices for technology architecture and management.
  • It is estimated that a minimum of 25% travel will be required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related discipline required.
  • Advanced degree and/or IT certifications are desired.
  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Experience leading teams desired.
  • Demonstrated project leadership abilities
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced in using creativity and sound reasoning to solve customer technical issues.
  • Deep understanding of and experience with PCs, servers, network infrastructure, mobile devices, and other software products.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • Fully Remote based role.
  • Well organized. Candidate must have ability to address tactical issues in the short-term while maintaining strategic vision for the long-term.
  • Proactive. Candidate must possess a strong sense of ownership and drive to success utilizing available resources. Must be comfortable working under pressure.
  • Honesty & Integrity. Candidate must be honest and possess integrity when dealing with both external customers and internal co-workers.
  • Ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural, global business environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with virtual teams and processes.
  • Proven strategic problem-solving expertise.
