Job description
- Manage the bid and purchasing programs in support of IT services and projects
- Tracking and updating Managers on shipping delays
- Manage software and hardware maintenance and support renewals
- Monitor and manage software licensing
- Generate bids for IT purchases and manage vendor bid lists
- Create purchase orders, get signatures, and place orders
- Coordinate IT staff meetings and IT project meetings
- Code invoices for the IT department and project cost tracking
- File management of contracts, invoices, purchase orders, and other internal documents.
- Take IT leadership meeting minutes
- Assist with some internal IT project meeting minutes
- Maintain work area and equipment in safe, clean, and orderly condition
- Maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
- Other projects and duties as assigned
- A high school diploma
- The ability to maintain confidentiality
- A track record of ethical, detailed oriented, self-starter, eager to learn, and have excellent communication skills, including writing and note taking.
