Position Overview:

The IT System Analyst helps oversee the Bank’s technology resources and the strategic use of technology solutions for operational efficiency and competitive advantage. In partnership with Bank and IT leadership, the IT System Analyst ensures the Bank’s information technology activities are secure and stable, monitors resources, and recommends upgrades and/or replacements as required to maximize return on investment and ensure capacity for Bank activities. The IT System Analyst collaborates with senior management to anticipate technological needs and implement the architecture needed to scale for growth and meet the demand for service delivery channels.

Additionally, this aids Bank and IT leadership in assuring compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable federal and state banking regulations.

This position will be based in our Columbia, Camden, Greenville, or Mount Pleasant, SC offices. Remote applicants will not be considered at this time.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with Bank leadership and staff in developing short and long-term information technology plans and programs for the Bank
  • Supervising information technology projects of the Bank
  • Helping ensure the security and stability of the Bank’s information technology resources
  • Working closely with Senior Management to develop strategic plans and make recommendations for major information technology projects that support strategic objectives
  • Assuring audit compliance and procedure quality control through internal and external reviews; recommending and initiating corrective actions; and ensuring system resources are in compliance with established Bank policies, procedures, and federal and state regulations
  • Analyzing and approving the installation of hardware and software updates and other patches
  • Overseeing coordination of technical support for acquisitions, partnerships, or new facilities
  • Maintaining advanced knowledge and awareness of financial industry technical status and trends
  • Coordinating resources to provide critical system support, minimizing downtime and impact to clients
  • Monitoring security and performance of Bank software, hardware, network, and cloud systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least five (5) years’ experience in information systems management
  • Experience successfully managing projects, preparing cost projections, and managing to budget
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate team members, lead by example and deploy resources effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills, with experience coordinating critical systems support
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience preparing and presenting recommendations and documenting project objectives and progress
