Voca has immediate contract position opening (contract term approximately 12 months with possible conversion to full time employee of client--but no guarantee) for an IT Systems Support Analyst resource with our healthcare industry client located in Milwaukee​, WI! This resource must work 100% onsite.

Assignment Details

This resource will work First shift – 8 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday, with rotational Off Hours On-Call responsibility 1 Year contract, possibility of being hired on but no guarantee. Top qualifications: 1. Customer service skills 2. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues without much assistance (being independent / resourceful) 3. Energetic and drive to excel, with motivation to take on additional responsibilities.

Job Description:
This resource is responsible for all support, configuration and deployment activities associated with desktop computers (and associated peripherals), video and associated unified communications technologies.

Responsibilities

  • This position provides support for desktop computers/peripherals including: computer hardware, printers, client access software, and other peripheral hardware devices (i.e. scanners, signature pads, etc.).
  • Video support will include video and teleconferencing end point equipment, conference rooms, telehealth and telemedicine initiatives enterprise wide.
  • Unified communication support includes deployment and support of mobile devices, video visits, basic phone and network troubleshooting.
  • This position serves as an escalation point for hardware and software related issues.
  • The position will work with other IT Teams and Facilities Management to ensure project deployments are completed acurately and on-time.
  • This position will work closely and professionally with the all IT teams members to promote teamwork, stewardship, and accountability.
  • The position works to improve and maintain a high level of system performance through the implementation and support of sound technologies and the consistent use of IT best practices.
  • Travel to remote support locations is required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years Years of Experience
  • Knowledge of Information Technology principles normally acquired through an Associates/Bachelors in Computer Science or similar
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user PCs/laptops, peripheral devices, printers, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provide desk-side assistance in resolving technology support issues.
  • Strong understanding of client standard desktop image and policies, windows operating systems, and basic telephony and networking support.
  • Participates in IT project related initiatives as assigned. Configures and deploys hardware and software within the approved timelines. Produces desired results on both project and support efforts. May lead small projects.
  • Coordination with Sr. Systems Support Analyst and/or Infrastructure teams for assistance with installation and support of equipment and services.
  • Ensure Incidents/WOs are addressed in a timely manner in accordance with reporting and metrics.
  • Responsible to keep the CMDB (Asset Database) updated to maintain accuracy.
  • Coordinates with vendors and on-site personnel to resolve issues, as needed.
  • Dispositions IT owned hardware in accordance with IT processes and procedures.
  • Prepares required system documentation to aide in troubleshooting, application qualification, process improvements, and cross-training.
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of industry standards and best practices regarding computing and unified communication. Keeps current on technology through publications, self-education, and seminars on an ongoing basis.
  • Position participates in an on-call rotation.
  • Represents the team in small to medium projects
  • Investigates and documents any actual or potential information security violations, incidents, or inappropriate computer use.
  • Provides audit reports to support these investigations.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory account management.
  • Solid capabilities working to plan and meeting deadlines.
  • Broad knowledge of IT services, applications and infrastructure.
  • Exceptional computer skills utilizing and supporting MS Office and MS Exchange/Outlook.
  • Good interpersonal skills in communications with all levels of hospital personnel, vendors and IT staff.

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in area of responsibility
  • Valid drivers license
