JANITOR
Vee-Jay is a concrete contracting company with a passion and understanding of the construction industry and the tools to accomplish the job.
We are looking for an afternoon/evening janitor for our 15,000 square foot office space in Affton, MO. Hours are semi-flexible, but ideally would start at 3 p.m. daily. Schedule will be 12-18 hours per week, with all work completed between Monday and Friday.
Responsibilities (overview, not a complete list):
- 3x a week emptying of trash cans, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming of floors, cleaning restrooms, and cleaning kitchen tables and counters.
- 1x a week dusting/wiping of desks, cabinets, glass partitions, chair bases, and copiers, as well as cleaning of kitchen appliances and cabinet fronts.
- Monthly cleaning of picture frames, baseboards/door frames, and vents/blinds.
- Cleaning supplies provided by the company.
Qualifications:
- Must be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented
- Experience cleaning similar environments preferred
Working Conditions:
- Office working environment.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time up to ten (10) hours per day.
- Physical exertion required, including, but not limited to: walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, using stairs and lifting up to 20 lbs.
