Job description

Food manufacturing company looking for a full time janitor to join out sanitation team.

Starting pay is $20.00/hour during the 60-day introductory period. After successfully completing the introductory period, employee’s wage may increase to $21.00/hour based on specific attendance and performance-based standards.

Work shifts - Days - 8 hour shifts. Overtime is available.

Perform all duties related to maintaining the general cleanliness and safety of the production department and facility as needed.

Responsibilities

· Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices

· Operate, clean, and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner

· Assist with allergen cleanings

· Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, clean floors and clean restrooms

· Regularly check the trash, recycle, and compost receptacles, emptying as needed

· Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces

· Dust fixtures, shelves, and product as needed

· Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, including stocking as needed

· Maintain the cleanliness of common areas including the break room and reception area

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to follow directions and established procedures
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
• Able to move/lift 20 lbs frequently and up to 55 lbs occasionally
• Able to walk/stand on concrete for the full shift

Qualifications

• Live in the Boulder, CO area
• Previous experience in food production is preferred
