WHAT WE OFFER

· Starting pay is $19.25 per hour.

YOUR ROLE AS A JOB COACH:

· Provide assistance with person-centered employment for participants.

· Build relationships with potential and existing employers.

· Analyze job tasks and negotiate work modifications and provide ongoing individual support and encouragement to individuals and employers.

· Providing communications support between employers and participants.

· Assist individuals with job preparation activities such as resumes, cover letters, mock interviews, and mobility training.

· Observe the work site culture and assist the worker in building a social bond with supervisors and coworkers that result in “natural supports”.

· Ensure health and safety of assigned participants.

· Ensure all required documentation is complete, timely, accurate and representative of a professional organization. Follow licensing regulations, agency policies and practices and assure protection of individual rights and safety.

WHAT YOU BRING:

· Compassion, Approachable, and Dependability are a must.

• Sense of humor
• Ability to work independently and as a group.
• High school Diploma/GED or a minimum of 2 years working with persons with diverse abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable automobile, safe driving record, and insurance coverage with minimum limits established by Exceed and be approved by Exceeds insurance carrier.

* Must be willing to work flexible hours when needed to assist participants with diverse abilities integrate into a new work environment.
