Overview:
Vectrus specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an opportunity for the US Navy’s Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) Customer Support Representative (CSR) and Training Subject Matter Expert. This position is located at NAS North Island, CA but may also require supporting other NAS and MCAS in both CONUS and OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
The MH-60 R/S JMPS SME will provide on-site support and act as the primary liaison between the fleet, the logistics team, and the Program Office. Primary duties include:
- Provide on-site technical support, fleet release training, scheduled classroom training, and on the job training to the squadrons and commands using Naval Mission Planning Systems
- Support JMPS Enhanced Developmental Tests & Operational Test events
- Support the PMA-281 Help Desk & the PMA-281 Technical Documentation Team
- Work with cross functional teams to compile source data inputs, establish training requirements, and review developed material
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- JMPS mission planning experience
- MH-60 Aviator experience
Desired Skills
- Advanced to expert user with MS Office applications specifically MS Word templates and styles
- Experience developing technical documentation and training for military computer systems
- DoD approver 8570 Baseline certification or civilian equivalent. Personnel performing IA functions must obtain one of the certifications required for their position category or specialty and level. Refer to Appendix 3 of 8570.01-M for further implementation guidance
- U.S. citizenship and active DoD Top Secret clearance, Top Secret/SCI preferred
