Industrial Journeyman Electrician – SGI LLC - Pembine, WI

The Industrial Journeyman Electrician will:

• Perform electrical and instrument planned maintenance, repairs, minor and major installations and replacements
• Assist in preparation of repairs (spare parts, tools, auxiliary equipment)
• Carry out inspections
• Adjustment and measurements according to standards
• Troubleshoot electrical/instrument issues
• Train operators on new installation
• Calibration of measurement equipment (weight feeds, pressure and temperature transmitters, flow meters, level measurement, sensors)
• Gas analyzer calibration
• Emission monitoring equipment
• Motor circuit analysis
• Power distribution
• Maintenance and operation of AC/DC drives.

Qualified candidates must have familiarity with the National Electrical Code, lock-out tag-out, confine space, and hot work permits. Qualified candidates are required to have:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts
• Work in inclement weather, heights, confined spaces and be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Journeyman Industrial Electrician current certification is required

Candidates must be able to pass a background check and receive a satisfactory completion of a pre-employment, post-offer physical exam and drug screening.
