The Electrical Facilitator/ Team Lead (looking for someone with a Journeyman Electrician's license in the state of Minnesota) is a leadership role. Under the supervision of the department manager, you will provide technical and production-related guidance to team members responsible for electrical assembly and wiring.

In addition, this role needs someone who will:

• Observe all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules, including housekeeping practices, participates in EHS meetings, investigations, and audits while addressing safety concerns
• Lead an hourly workforce and take ownership to ensure production goals and outputs are met and that the team adheres to quality standards and processes
• Schedule personnel on the floor and assign work while directing and assisting employees in daily work to ensure products meet order specifications
• Act as point of contact, or supporting role as needed, for cycle counting; including having specific knowledge of department and SAP computer system and also ordering of materials from warehouse and externally
• Identify on-the-job training needs for department
• Observe and provide coaching to operators on the floor and provide input on operator performance as part of annual performance review process
• Conduct new hire area specific training and orientation
• Support area supervisor / manager on quality procedure review and updates through document change order process
• Support area supervisor/manager on maintaining business processes/ practices (work instructions, process sheets, etc.)
• Support the department by completing operator functions as needed and perform any additional duties as assigned by the area Supervisor or Manager

Qualifications/Requirement:

• Current State of Minnesota Journeyman Electrician's license
• 2 years of leadership experience
• 2 years of directly related on the job experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Ability to lay out and assemble basic electrical circuits and experience with PLC's (Programmable Logic Controls)
• Technical training in the electrical filed with panel building/ electrical troubleshooting experience
• A High School Diploma / GED

Desired Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office and SAP
• Demonstrates a high level of operational understanding of work practices, technology and safety risk analysis (SRA)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40.00 per hour
