Judicial Service Diversion Specialist - Full Time

As our full-time Diversion Specialist, you will work in the Justice Center screening and interviewing potential clients. You will coordinate with Judicial Services Director and other team members to collect data and organize case documents.


Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm

Pay

Starting rate for this role is $19.00 per hour.

Full-time employees are eligible for medical benefits the first of the month 30 days after hire date. Options for a standard plan and an HSA plan with a $300 initial contribution and up to a $25 per paycheck match. 10 paid holidays and PTO hours which accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months employees are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match. Company paid life insurance, short and long term disability, in house and paid training opportunities, and additional pay for working holidays.


Job Responsibilities

  • Interview and screen all clients for appropriate diversion programs
  • Provide case management for Judicial clients
  • Maintain updated information regarding client treatment and community service to the District Attorney, attorneys, prosecutors, clients, and District Court Judges
  • Serve as an agency representative in court proceedings and in the Judicial Center
  • Prepare, organize, and update case document files for court hearings
  • Prepare daily & monthly court dockets (calendars)
  • Monitor and review case files to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with statutes, policies, and criminal procedures
  • File all continuances and called and failed cases
  • Compile ongoing monthly and yearly statistical data for all case files, denoting disposition of cases, demographic information by program type.
  • Develop & maintain ongoing and effective relationships with community resources and referrals sources
  • Utilize Odyssey to check records and update court information for files


Qualifications

Educational and Experience

  • 4 year degree in Human Services field
  • 1-3 years of experience working in criminal justice preferred
