Kennel Representative - Day Shift
Job description

PetSafe Village is seeking a Day Shift Kennel Representative to provide excellent care of our guests, including health, safety, exercise, and cleanliness. A genuine love for animals is a must!
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure cleanliness of the kennel, including play yards, suites, cattery, kitchen, and the public dog park - poop scooping is required!
- Caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds – this is a physically demanding role
- Communicate between the kennel, clients, and the front desk staff on policies and guest information
- Ensure proper care of four-legged guests through feeding, watering, bedding, medicating, exercising, and tracking of all habits
- Ensure the overall safety of our guests and work with management to increase customer and guest satisfaction
Shift: Full or part-time available: 10-hour shifts between the hours of 7am-6pm or 8am-7pm. Weekend availability required.
The starting pay for this position is $12 per hour, plus quarterly bonuses, and we offer benefits including:

Requirements:- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- At least 1 year of pet care or pet training experience is preferred
- Must have a desire and passion for providing only excellent customer service
- Ability to frequently stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to walk and be on feet for hours at a time
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability and willingness to utilize RSC values in all consumer and teammate interactions
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally with fellow teammates, management, and clients
