KH Clinical Quality Analyst
Job description
Under limited supervision works collaboratively with UM Rehab & Ortho leaders to acquire, manage, manipulate and analyze data and report results on outcomes, compliance and standards of care in a manner suitable for a non-technical audience.Responsible for understanding key business concepts in the development of reports, dashboards, analytics, data mining and other functions in order to provide historical, current and predictive views of the business.
Ensures data integrity and security.
- Produces dashboards and reports to support facility process improvement efforts
- Analyzes data and transforms it into meaningful and useful information
- Performs basic statistical analysis for projects and reports
- Acquires and abstracts primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources (internal or national databases).
- Develops and implements data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Interpret quality data for evaluation of programmatic results and write descriptions of data measurement and uses of the data
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Bachelors in Information Management, Healthcare Information, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics or related equivalent field.
- Masters in a related field with experience in data analysis as described above is preferred.
- Five years of experience in data analysis required
- Two years of experience managing financial and clinical databases including case mix files, cost accounting files and severity indexed files required.
