Job description
Privately owned, small day school is hiring a part-time , year round afternoon Kindergarten teacher (age range 3.5-6). The administration is looking for candidates that are energetic, creative, and good communicators. Applicants must be able to work closely with other teachers, be familiar with the DOE Preschool Frameworks, as well as implement a weekly theme based curriculum. Must also be able to provide positive reinforcement techniques to encourage growth and learning through play.
Other Requirements:
*CPR/FIRST AIDE certified or willing to obtain
*Able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, work indoors or outdoors, as well as able to engage in physical activities with the children
*Ability to build relationships with families and co-workers
*Has transportation to and from work
*At least 1 year of experience preferred
*Associate degree preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

- Woburn, MA 01801: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
