Proper Brewing Co is looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our team for our new location in Moab, Utah.
The Kitchen Manager oversee's the overall day to day operations for the kitchen at Proper Brewing Moab. Their goal is to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and follows all local and federal health and safety and DABS guidelines. The Kitchen Manager is responsible in making sure the kitchen complies with company standards in all areas including hiring, firing, on going employee training, repairs and maintenance, inventory, and ensuring the highest quality of product and presentation are delivered to the customers.
Responsibilities
Running a department of 8-10 employees including, sous chefs, prep cooks, and line cooks
Hiring, firing, disciplining staff when applicable
Cost control and inventory management
Daily repairs and maintenance
Scheduling of staff
Qualifications
At least 1-2 years in similar position
Strong management skills and be able to problem solve concerns as they arise
Food Handlers/Serve Safe certified
