Job description
Clemson University's Youth Learning Institute is looking to hire part-time kitchen staff at Camp Bob Cooper in Summerton, SC.
The Kitchen Staff is responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen where he/she will prepare and serve meals to summer campers, rental groups, school groups and adult groups. Nights and Weekends are required when needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Food Preparation and cooking of school type meals, buffet style, bag lunches, etc. and the cleanliness, sanitation of the kitchen.
- Must be able to cook for large groups of students or campers, as well as prepare meals for adult groups.
- Keeps up with the plate count worksheets, inventory as directed.
- Uses menus in the preparation of meals
- May take receipt of food orders and other supplies.
- Operates all kitchen equipment in a safe manner
- Maintains a high standard of sanitation in food preparation in accordance with DHEC standards
- Cooperates and communicates with other school staff, public, parents and students to promote a positive school and work climate.
- Other related duties may be assigned
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $10.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
