We’re looking for an HR Knowledge Manager to join the Procore team. In this exciting opportunity, you’ll ensure everyone has the information they need by owning the ongoing governance of a knowledge base system, including its overall health and best practices. You will make important decisions around information architecture, technology, and the overall structure and use of our knowledge base system.

The knowledge manager's primary responsibility is to encourage correct and widespread usage of the company's knowledge base system. They should create guidelines for what information is captured and by whom, how it integrates with the rest of the tech stack, and how to keep it from growing stale.

An ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment and has a background in leading content and information architecture strategy across an organization. As a Knowledge Manager, you will define the content/knowledge management strategy and lead the content architecture and strategy. The role will focus on developing, auditing, and maintaining high-quality content for employees.

You'll work closely with key stakeholders across the company to maintain consistency at a global scale and align the content strategy with their vision. You will play a significant role in the development of a successful and effective knowledge base and will have a direct impact on employees day to day.

This position reports to our Senior Manager, Talent Services.

What you’ll do:

  • Define the HR knowledge management strategy for our knowledge base and maintain high-quality, up-to-date, and searchable content for audiences of varying skill levels

  • Develop and implement a knowledge management philosophy

  • Encourage a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative workflow among departments and project teams

  • Ensure that stakeholders know the knowledge management processes and that the right knowledge goes to the right people

  • Leverage analytics to evaluate business impact, track the usage, define the efficiency of the knowledge base content, and report findings/recommendations to stakeholders

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of authors from each department to follow established guidelines and implement the right way to spread information

  • Establish writing guidelines based on knowledge base best practices and develop the team to ensure they are achieving or surpassing them

  • Work effectively across the organization with stakeholders, change management, service teams, trainers, curriculum developers, and subject matter experts to develop and support new and existing processes

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related area preferred

  • 5+ years of Knowledge Manager experience

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities

  • Strong business writing and oral communication/presentation skills

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and solid analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong relationship-building skills in order to acquire the trust of business partners and leaders

  • Ability to use/learn all Procore tools, including Workday, Culture Amp, Google apps, Slack, MS Office, Confluence, and Igloo
