Job description
Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor looking for a Lab Technician to support our long-term project in Brunswick, Georgia. 50-hour work weeks. Local candidates preferred.The daily work will include:
Retrieving, labeling, and storing daily samples in compliance with the ASTM method
Performing daily test on samples in compliance with the ASTM method
Recording and analyzing test results
Maintaining detailed records and reports
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science. Minimum six months laboratory experience. Related experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Other job requirements include:
Experience in lab and sampling procedures
Data Management
Field experience a plus
SALARY/BENEFITS:
Hourly position. Extensive company-provided benefit package includes medical, dental, prescription, 401k, and pension plan.
