In this role, the Laundry Worker performs a variety of tasks within the laundry department.
This is a part time evening shift position 4:00pm-12:00am Saturday/Sunday including 1 weekday and holidays, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Preferred Criteria:
- One year experience in laundry setting preferred.
Required Criteria:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic computer literacy is required.
- Ability to endure strenuous work under extreme heat conditions and prolonged standing.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and able to stand for long periods of time; work requires standing, walking, and manual dexterity. Must be able to lift, pull and push 10 pounds at intervals.
