POSITION SUMMARY: Assess and treat individuals with mental and emotional, issues. Activities may include individual, family, marital, and group therapy, crisis intervention, client advocacy, prevention, and psycho-education.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: This section reviews the employee’s performance of the responsibilities outlined in his/her specific job description.
- Interview, assess, and diagnose clients, review records, and confer with other professionals to evaluate mental and physical status of client.
- Develop an individual treatment plan and monitor, evaluate, and record client progress with respect to the treatment goals and objectives.
- Modify treatment plans according to change and/or progress in client status.
- Conduct therapy sessions that address the goals and objectives of the treatment plan utilizing various treatment modalities including CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Strategic Therapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Behavioral Therapy and EMDR.
- Involve family members in systemic treatment with the permission of the client in order to assist them in understanding, dealing with issues, and supporting the client.
- All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Master’s Degree of Social Work
- Current LCSW MO license
- 2 years LCSW experience preferred
