Job Description/Position Overview:

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at above mentioned location.

Export Control:
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Position Summary:
This position is accountable for performing business management activities for key managed programs customers. The role will manage Key Performance Indicators including but not limited to aggregation of managed program revenue, earnings, inventory, cash management, and operational performance. Supports projects and processes, provides technical management of customers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the overall profitability and performance of assigned program(s).
  • Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance
  • Supports the program by coordinating program metrics.
  • Maintain and create a professional yet personalized relationship with assigned customers.
  • Take ownership of all contract proposals to ensure submissions are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the identification and execution of strategies that achieve short and long-term business growth objectives.
  • Accountable for continuous improvement in customer program management tools and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal leaders regarding customer specific strategy, execution and customer relationship management.
  • Provides coaching and guidance to teammates, fostering a collaborative and growth environment
  • Facilitates the resolution of program issues, developing solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.
  • Subject matter expert in program management
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
  • 8-10 years of related work experience
  • Experience in Program Management and/or Customer Support
  • Experience in lieu of education
  • Knowledge of the aerospace/aviation industry
  • Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in numeric reasoning and mathematical skills
  • Advanced knowledge in all MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) applications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Business Administration or Engineering or Related Field of Study (Master’s Degree preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Previous experience in the aerospace industry/fasteners, (preferred)

Traveling:
This position requires traveling up to 25% of the time
