Are you looking for a position in the carton printing field that offers work/life balance? Join us at C&S Carton where employees enjoy an attractive work schedule. Normal operation is 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday (Friday’s off). Overtime is limited and occurs as needed.

C&S Carton is a full-service manufacturer of printed packaging components. Our newly created Cartons Finishing department is seeking to add an experienced Folder/Gluer Operator to their team. We are installing a brand new Bobst Masterfold folder/gluer to our recently expanded operation. This position will perform setups, perform quality checks, maintenance, troubleshooting and maintain production levels by minimizing downtime. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of operating a folder/gluer machine, preferably a Bobst Masterfold folder/gluer machine (preferably in a Lead position).

Main duties include:

• Prepare make-ready feeder, pre-fold, glue system, final fold, delivery, stacker, pack station, and inspection system.
• Operate and troubleshoot Folder Gluer.
• Observe and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.
• Perform routine adjustments during each job and maintain production throughout the run.
• Monitor the product for quality while minimizing waste and rework.

This position requires:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum of 3 years of operating folder/gluer machine, preferable a Bobst Masterfold gluing machine (preferably in a Lead position).
• General knowledge and understanding of die cutting processes and equipment.
• Operator with leadership skills and ability to train and mentor trainees is highly preferred.
• Setup & troubleshooting finishing equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude as it applies to set up and machine as an operator.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, regularly push and/or pull and move up to 100 pounds. Ability to lift 0 to 80 pounds frequently. Occasionally lift 81-100 lbs.
• Learning and getting a license to drive material handling equipment.
• Must become certified in Lockout-Tagout Program.
