Papillion Enrichment Center is looking for an enthusiastic teacher. We are a childcare center with locations in Chesterland and Willoughby Hills known for providing value, care, love, education, and healthy meals to our children. Hours vary between: 9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday- Friday

Papillion Preschool Teachers would do the following:

Prepare children for kindergarten by introducing concepts they will explore further in preschool

Work with children in groups or one on one, depending on the needs of children and the subject matter

Plan and carry out a curriculum that targets different areas of child development, such as language, motor, and social skills

Organize activities so children can learn about the world, explore interests, and develop talents

Develop schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime

Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring problems to the attention of parents

Keep records of the students’ progress, routines, and interests, and keep parents informed about their child’s development.

Papillion preschool teachers work with children from different ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds. Papillion Teacher's include topics in their lessons to teach children to respect people of different backgrounds and cultures. Papillion teachers have love, compassion, care, understanding and patience for their students. Papillion teachers are hardworking, dedicated, reliable, and team players when it comes to work ethic.

Papillion Preschool Teacher's also Supervise and monitor the safety of the children

Monitor the children during meals and snacks, encourage good eating habits

Help children keep good hygiene by helping wash hands throughout the day

Assist students when using the bathroom facilities

Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allows children to learn about the world and explore interests

Know and understand schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime

Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring the problems to the attention of director/parents

Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interest

Read to children, and teach them simple painting, drawing, handcrafts, and songs.

Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games.

Instruct children in health and personal habits such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.

Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas.

Sanitize toys and play equipment.

Requirements

* Must be able to lift the children up to 50lbs

* Must be mobile and able to move quickly

* Must be able to always see and hear the children while supervising

* Must pass a background check

* Must have high school diploma or equivalent

* Must be able to pass a physical examination

* Must be available to work between 6:30am-6pm Monday-Friday (8hour shifts)

Pay will be based off experience, education, and overall performance of the job requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $1,885.00 - $2,100.00 per month
