Broadridge Financial Solutions is looking for an innovative and self-motivated Lead Software Engineer to join our IT Service Management Group!
We need you to design, develop and support solutions that are used by our internal and external client users. In this role you will be crafting solutions that support the Broadridge Remedy Platform. We are looking for candidates that will have experience building and maintaining solutions that support internal infrastructure organizations and client facing teams. This role provides the opportunity to suggest new insights and then craft solutions in a live interactive environment. You will work with all levels and departments in the organization, including our business partners and executive management.
Requirements:
- Must have experience with BMC Remedy solutions
- Responsible for developing custom forms, enhance Out of the box interfaces and workflows as well as provide excellent support to all end users
- Responsible for Remedy Server and Mid-Tier Administration, AR server configuration, Approval server and Email Engine configuration
- Strong Familiarity with ITSM modules like Incident, Change, Problem and Service Request Management
- Must be able to troubleshoot application logs (SQL, API, Filter, Active Links etc.) and provide solutions
- Must have Remedy Integrations experience using Remedy REST, SOAP based APIs
- Must have customization experience in ARS v9.x and later
- Ability to gather requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Help with the design, coding, debugging, and testing of new and existing programs
- Implement changes according Broadridge Change governance Policies including weekend or late evening coverage where required
- Provide production systems support including evening and weekends where necessary
- Proficient with Object oriented design
- Knowledge of current Java eco-system e.g. Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate and work well with internal partners
- Ability to work as part of a scrum team and participate in peer programming
- 5+ Years of experience in BMC Remedy
- 2+ years’ experience in Java
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Atrium Integrator
- Experience with Web server technologies
- Experience with Python
- Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries or frameworks: jQuery, VueJS
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with integrating multiple systems together
