ADU is a 24-hour emergency service company specializing in Water, Fire and Mold Restoration. The Lead Restoration Technician’s role is to provide emergency response, mitigation and cleanup services to properties damaged by fire, water, and mold. Respect for the customer, their property and belongings is an absolute necessity. Customer service is the number one priority. This position must utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform skilled restoration and cleanup tasks.

• Perform a detailed inventory of items that have experienced water, fire, or smoke damage.

• Responsible for job details and documentation including scope sheet, moisture/atmospheric sheets, job photos, etc.

• Supervise technicians and ensure they are performing job tasks correctly.

• On-site cleaning of damaged items and materials.

• Remove and dispose of any affected materials.

• Identify the source of the problem and determine the extent of damages.

• Place and monitor jobsite equipment.

• Educate customers on the scope of work and the cleanup process.

• Maintain communication regarding timetables, work progression and unexpected situations.

• Demolition, remediation, cleaning, packing and moving damaged items and materials.

• Perform assigned work in a timely manner and meet deadlines and expectations.

• Ensure technicians are accurately completing work in a timely manner and are meeting deadlines and expectations.

• Utilize company software to document every job detail.

• Ensure vehicle is serviced and clean.

• Ensure equipment is cleaned and operating properly.

• Ensure work areas are clean and always organized.

• Maintain a safe work environment on every job.

• All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Prior technician experience (construction, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)

• Restoration industry experience and/or knowledge of restoration, mitigation and/or construction practices and procedures.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Computer/software skills (Dash, Microsoft and Google products).

• High attention to detail.

• Ability to understand and follow directions.

• Must be able to pass a full background check.

• A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record are required.

• Must be available for routine on-call rotational emergency services and after-hours work.

Employee must be prepared to:

• Lift and carry weight/heavy objects up to 50 lbs without assistance.

• Continuously climb, bend, and reach.

• Work in an environment that has suffered fire, water, and/or smoke damage.

• Utilize proper PPE, including respirators when needed.

Experience:

• Restoration: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training (Preferred)

• Day Shift (Preferred)
