The Learning Specialist serves as a primary performance consultant responsible for the end-to-end project management of complex learning programs and performance improvement solutions, including the design, facilitation, and ongoing management of learning programs. Learning programs and solutions may span multiple business units, including but not limited to sales, services, management, IT, product management, and operations.


What you’ll do at Insight:


  • Align to specific areas of the internal Insight organization as a primary consultant for learning and performance needs.

  • Regularly meet and consult with organizational stakeholders and liaisons to discuss upcoming initiatives, learning needs, and/or performance gaps under guidance of L&D Leadership.

  • Triage training requests and business requirements with discovery calls to determine needs and performance outcomes.

  • Collaborate and manage cross-functional teams consisting of L&D Instructional designers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts of varying levels within the organization to develop and execute on learning projects and solutions.

  • Contribute to the design of and management of ongoing, learning programs

  • Partner with L&D Learning Coordinator for the planning and launch of learning programs and projects.

  • Reviews and updates training materials for quality control and improvement.

  • Facilitate sales, soft skills, management and/or technical training, as needed.

  • Use a variety of tools and software including but not limited to, Camtasia, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to develop training and communication deliverables.

  • Reports on initial Level 1 and 2 learning measurements, performance readiness, and program/project success.


What you’ll need to join Insight:


  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university in Adult Education, Educational Technology, Human Resources or related field, or least 2-4 years of relevant work experience involving the design, facilitation, development, of complex learning programs.

  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and models, facilitation methods and techniques

  • Proficient in project management skills and the ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team to develop learning solutions.

  • Skill in creating positive learning environments and adapting to enhance the learning experience

  • Prior experience in facilitating sales, management training, systems/process and/or technical training.

  • Proficiency with Camtasia, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • The ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time-sensitive project goals and metrics.
