BEDSLIDE is looking to fill 2 positions for our Assembly Department - Start Time: 5:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-Thursday and Fridays as needed.

Summary:

The Assembly position will perform the regular duties involved in the scope of producing and assembling of BEDSLIDE’s and BEDSLIDE related items such as accessories, show displays, retail displays, and promotion materials. The assembler will apply knowledge and skills to perform regular duties of production as a team member on the production line.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and stage parts needed
• Lifting components off the Monorail and staging on carts
• Prep frames for assembly
• Add components to frames to assemble
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
• Work on your feet for up to 10 hours a day
• Ability to understand and fallow oral and written instructions
• Be able to communicate effectively as a team member
• Be reliable and consistent attendance record
• Keep work area clean and organized

Experience:

• Assembly and packaging
• Quality control
• Ability to follow work orders as per schedules
• Use of hand tools
• Working in a team environment
• Lifting 35-75lbs routinely
• Use of tools and equipment
• Grinders
• Air tools, rivet gun, staple gun
• Cordless drill
• Hammer
• Staple gun
• Pallet jack
• Forklift
• Basic hand tools, screw driver, allen wrench, open end wrench, pliers, tape measure
• Drill press
• Chop saw

Physical Requirements

• Standing for long periods of time
• Lifting and/or carrying

Requirements:

• Must pass drug screening
• Background check will be conducted
